Amy is our Patient Services Director and is also a Certified Veterinary Technician.  She has  a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.  She joined the AHC in January 1998.  Amy enjoys every aspect of the outdoors: camping, biking, canoeing, cross country skiing and relaxing on the lakes.  She loves bird watching, bug watching and gardening.  She has two Labrador Retrievers named Poke and Paige, and a cockatiel named Tweet.

Amber is a Veterinary Assistant and joined AHC in September 2000.  She attended the University of Wisconsin - Barron County in Rice Lake where she received an Associate of Art and Science degree.  Amber has lived in Rice Lake all her life.  She has two dogs, both black lab mixes (Velvet & Jazmin) and three cats, Patch, Windsor, and Zena (the Warrior Princess).  Amber loves NASCAR, four-wheeling and baseball.

Penny is our Pet Caretaker who is responsible for taking care of the animals that are patients at the hospital and those that are in for Boarding.  Penny likes to fish, go camping, support the Badgers & Packers, and going antiquing.  She also loves spending time with her first grandson, Brayden.  Penny has 2 Chocolate Labs (Jagger & Cedar) and 2 cats (Dorothy & Hannah).  Penny has 2 new additions to her family.  Twin Granddaughters!  Isabella and Olivia...

Tishara worked at a local café prior to joining the Animal Hospital of Chetek as a Veterinary Assistant.  She loves people and animals so AHC was a good choice for her.  Tishara enjoys all seasons of the year: She enjoys horseback riding all year round with her horse "Candellara", Candy for short.  She also enjoys  four wheeling, camping, and motorcycling with her husband in the summer. Tishara enjoys snowmobiling in the winter when there is enough snow. She has 2 cats, a 7-toed "Mojave" and "Pogo", her 3-legged wonder, and 1 dog "Shelby" who is a Retriever/Labrador mix.  Tishara has recently had an addition to her family, a Lab mix named Remington. To make her little zoo complete, she also has 2 horses, Candy and Kodi.  Since joining AHC, Tishara has earned her Certified Veterinary Technician title.

Amy joined the Animal Hospital of Chetek in June, 2005, and is our new Client Services representative.  She has a four - year old son and two dogs, Shelby, a German Sheppard mix and Sophie, a miniature Dachshund.

She enjoys camping and four-wheeling in the summer!

Amanda  is a Veterinary Assistant and has rejoined us in  2005.  She worked here for three years during high school and is happy to be back on staff. Amanda just got married in July and has two dogs, a black Labrador named Dirty Harry, and a Yorkie named Mustang Sally.  She also has a horse named Eastwood's Magnum.  Amanda has a new addition to her family, a horse named Savvy.  Amanda enjoys horseback ridding, enduro racing, and hunting with her husband.  Great News!  Amanda and her husband are now a Mommy and a Daddy with the arrival of "Baby Kennith" in November of 2006!

Mari-Lyn joined the Animal Hospital of Chetek in May of  2006 as a kennel attendant.  She has 5 cats and one dog.  Her favorite sports are softball and volleyball.  Her favorite past times include swimming, fishing, hunting, biking, coloring and working at the Animal Hospital.

Shelley is a Veterinary Technician that joined our staff in August of 2007.  She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota with a Veterinary Technician degree in 1987. She has worked in both veterinary hospitals and large pharmaceutical companies as well as being the Program Coordinator at a Veterinary Technology school.  Shelley will also be helping us in Client Services.

Shelley enjoys bird watching and being outdoors. She has three dogs, Pepsi (Red Heeler), Bubba (English Bulldog), Jack (Pomeranian mix), and one cat, Twinkie.

Melissa is a Certified Veterinary Technician and joined the Animal Hospital of Chetek in October of 2006.  She is a graduate of  of the MATC Veterinary Technician program (in Madison).  She has enjoyed the rewards and challenges of being a CVT for 7 years.  Melissa enjoys being out on the water, reading, hiking, campfires and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.  Melissa shares her home with 2 cats, "Burt" and "Apollo", 2 guinea pigs, "Dexter" and "Timmy", a shih Tzu, "Millie", a hamster, "Sandy" and several tropical fish!

Diane works in Client Services at the Animal Hospital of Chetek.  She has 2 cats, Wally & Sami.  Wally is her new cat and he has lots of energy!  Sami spends time on look-out, protecting the house.  She even alerted Diane to Halloween pranksters who were in the yard!  Diane also has two Springer Spaniels, Buddy & Buck.  Buddy loves to hunt with Diane's husband.  Buck is their new pup.  He's very loveable, but still learning all the rules of the house.
